DJMax Trilogy (Korean: 디제이맥스 트릴로지; abbreviation: DM TR) is a rhythm action game with five difficulty modes ranging from limited four-key gameplay to a challenging eight-key setup. As notes are played with perfect rhythmic accuracy, a "fever gauge" will be charged. When it is fully charged, "Fever" can be activated. "Fever" acts as a multiplier to score and it varies between x2 and x5 depending on the combo count of each note

How To Unlock All songs:

Installation Instruction:
1. Mount image and install
2. Inside the image is a update folder with the update in it.. Patch the game with the update file.
3. Drag and drop the files inside the crack folder also located in the disc into the DJMaxTrilogy folder.
Ex. C:\Program Files\Pentavision\DJMaxTrilogy
4. Copy the files inside the tools folder also located in the disc and paste it into the DJMaxTrilogy Folder
5. Open "DJLauncher.exe" to change the language from Korean to English
6. Launch the game using the TR1.exe
6. Launch the game using the TR1.exe
Note: Don't use Wide Screen Settings, the mouse icon in-game will disappear

do not install the game on other drive. always install it on C:\PENTAVISION\DJ Max Trilogy and this is not a modified installer.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to install on Drive D as D;\pentavision\djmaxtrilogy and played in 16:9 1600 x 900 I had no problems and deleted files with "launcher" in their names because they are proven by me trojan horse 356 and used tr1 to play.... it works awesome !! xD but slows loading time like 60% when connected to steam

The crack is not meant for the sub-launcher aka DJLauncher.exe, but for the main-launcher which is TR.exe

It has happened twice alreadya and I am not in the mood to go rummage through all of the code for the problem. If you can help me, I think something can be worked out. yes you can install it on your D:\ but you will not be able to run the "DJLauncher.exe" but the "TR1.exe" will. So you can still play the game on D:\ just remember always run the game thru "TR1.exe" NOT ON "DJLauncher.exe"

DeleteOkay your problem is that you only need to extract one of the 33 files , not all of them , and then use daemon tools lite , and mount the image and then install like Gercee said above !!

HELP! i did everything, download everything, extract, mount then install, then after install i updated (patch) the game, cracked then copied the tools, so basically i did everything in chronological order. i also installed it on c:\ but after trying to run TR1.exe nothing happened. i also saw the TR1.exe process in the taskmanager at 99% but nothing happened. i haven't tried running it on "sandboxie" though. pls help. also using OS windows XP sp3.
ReplyDeleteThis game is not working on WINDOWS XP unless you use sandboxie. It's either you change your OS to WINDOWS 7 or play it on WINDOWS XP via SANDBOXIE.

Right-click TR1.exe, choose Defaultbox, click OK.

ReplyDeleteI downloaded all the parts and tried to extract everything and was only able to extract the first part. Hence I mount the iso and click "setup", however while installing halfway, I always met a " Unable to run iKernel.exe " "USB setup fail" and the installation would come to a halt.

Found the problem. For some reason, after installing, the game created TWO PENTAVISION folders, both on C:

Uhm... Yeah. I've downloaded this on two different laptops. The first running WinXP and the second running Win7.
ReplyDeleteThe WinXP one ran perfectly, until my cousin dropped the laptop and it died.
On the one with Win7, it runs extremely slow... I did everything the same as I did on WinXP, yet it slows down to the point that it hangs for a few seconds.
I'd have a song at 5x speed and it moves as if it's set at .5x.
I've tried messing with the DJLauncher to see if there'd be any noticable change, but none.
Even the Neowiz and Pentavision splash screens are slowed down. The audio goes on way before the splash screens come up.
Anyone else know what's going on? Have a solution?
Try changing the In-Game options.

DeleteFor example, if you have Power Iso, install it. After installing, open it. you will see on the menu options, "Mount". Click it then set number of drives to one. After doing that, go to the place where you saved all the downloaded RARs. Select them all then right click and Extract to, "DJ.MAX.TRILOGY". Then wait for it to finish. When finished, open the folder and right click the .iso file. Then highlight the poweriso and highlight mount to. Then select DRIVE [_]. (Depends on which letter shows). Then go to Computer. open that drive and there you go! All ready to install and stuff.

2. After installing, restart IF required.
3. After restarting or IF not needed, open PowerIso
4. When it opens, it may ask you to register, just click continue unregistered.
5. On the top area, were it says copy, compress, burn and Mount. Click On MOUNT. Then highlight "Set number of Drives" and select 1.
6. After selecting 1, exit the program and Open Computer. You will now see something like "CD Drive (X:)" or something close to that.
7. Now, go to the folder where the DJ Max Trilogy file is located, right click it, then highlight PowerIso, then click on "Mount to CD Drive (X:)".
8. Now go back to computer and Open the CD Drvie with the DJ Max Trilogy.iso. If you can't open it, just select it on the side, where the computer is listed with the cd drives on the right.
9. Now install it by selecting Setup.exe and wait for it to install.
10. After installing it. Inside the iso is a update folder with the update called "DJ Max Trilogy Update 1.32.exe" in it. Open patch to patch the game with the update file.
11. Drag and drop the files inside the crack folder also located in the osp into the DJMaxTrilogy folder.
Ex. C:\Program Files\Pentavision\DJMaxTrilogy
12. Copy the files inside the tools folder also located in the iso and paste it into the DJMaxTrilogy Folder
13. Open "DJLauncher.exe" to change the settings. When selecting the settings for it, first go to Desktop, then right click and select Screen Resolution. Then go to Advanced Settings and select List All Modes. Copy the settings that are highlighted.
Example: For my laptop, these are my settings.
(In the List all modes, this is what it says.)
1600 by 900, 60 Hertz
Width is 1600
Height is 900
Refresh Rate is 60
14. Then set these to the following by clicking on them.
Allow Alt+Tab = On
Widescreen = Depends if your monitor is Widescreen
Vertical Sync = On
Ingame Banners = On
game Language = English
Swear Filter = On or Off
15. Lastly, go to the Desktop and right click the DJ Max Trilogy Icon and go to Properties.
Then change the ending of the Option TARGET: to C:\PENTAVISION\DJMaxTrilogy\TR1.exe.
Do this also for the one located in the start menu...
Right click it then select Properties. For the Target:
C:\PENTAVISION\DJMaxTrilogy\TR1.exe
Then you can finally play it. Just double click the icon
the problem is still there apparently any button i click even the mouse would cause it to hang for like 2 sec each time...so the current only way to play it is to exit and restart every match btw im a xp user.

ReplyDeleteBlue Screens and PC Crashes happen if you use the wrong Screen Resolution or Refresh rate...
DeleteTry checking you screen resolution first..
For Windows 7, right-click on your desktop.
Then, select Screen Resolution.
Next, Select ADVANCED SETTINGS and select LIST ALL MODES.
A Window will pop open and highlight your current resolution and screen refresh rate.
The first digits are the Width, 2nd are the Height and the one with the Hz are the Refresh Rate..
Example:
1600 by 900, 60 hz
1600 = Width
900 = Height
60 = Refresh Rate

DeleteAlright. Awesome. But now that I have a Lv.63 save file, I tried changing the name that was inside USB_16128_6.dat. I changed it from Aine to another name. After saving the change, I couldn't run DJMAX. Is there another method or step I can do to change the name but keep the level and etc.? The only way I could fix this is to replace my edited USB_16128_6.dat with the downloaded one.

ReplyDeleteOK for those who can't run the game, go to start-> all programs-> sandboxie -> run any program sandboxed, then browse for TR1.exe. That's what I did when TR1 is not responding.

Your probably making mistakes.... I only experience those when I make a few mistakes then I have to play perfectly for a while then the music will come back..

DeleteI think you're missing some files.
These can be found in your documents (my documents) folder -->
look in:
"C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\DJMaxTrilogy" folder.
I'm going on a guess here since that location is on a windows 7 OS.
You should see a Profile folder. If you don't go to your folder options and enable view hidden folders option. It should show up then.
In the profiles folder you'll find some random named folder and inside this folder you'll find some files that make up your dj profile and probably all songs you may have unlocked.
Copy all these files, and upload these (if you can upload these files, it would be much appreciated thanks :) ). Everyone will have to go to above mentioned location folder and overwrite their own profile files.
I hope this all makes sense

I've spent my time downloading the files, but how come when it comes to part 33, the password became invalid?? was the password changed too? I can't download part 33.. :((
DeleteRafs, that's nice you explained some things but you are wrong. Sandbox helped me to figure it out and I found save files. Those are:

- USB_16128_3.dat
- USB_16128_4.dat
- USB_16128_5.dat
- USB_16128_6.dat
and they are located at game folder.
It would be nice to play some good but not unlocked songs. LyX91, can you upload those files? :)

DeleteI'm sorry but have you actually tested this? If so can you please detail the exact process. Those are save files but they are temporary and are overwritten by your current user profile. I've tested my method and it works. I've also tested the above mentioned method and discovered they are temporary save files and not an actual profile save data.
That's simple. When I deleted those files, the game tells me to give my profile name so it's cleared.
DeleteAnd did you notice that all progress made unlocking songs has also been reset? Please list your operating system, dj level and perhaps a rough estimate of how much songs you've unlocked in the last 3 weeks or more if you have been playing that long.

Ironic, I'm about the same dj level at the time I'm writing this reply.
DeleteJust to re-iterate, I copied over LyX91's USB .dat file (and other provided files, thanks LyX91 :) ) into my games folder. This does not overwrite my DJ Data, hence this does not work for me, not in windows 7.
I deleted the profile data in my documents, started the game and created the new profile with no progress no songs unlocked.
Then I overwrote the new profile with my backed up profile in the my documents section, and everything got restored with all the songs I have unlocked so far and dj level restored.
I'm not sure how dj Data gets overridden in XP but in Windows 7 this only appears to work if you overwrite both the USB .dat files as well as the files in the My Documents folder.
That's why I asked LyX91 to please provide that my document data so I can get this working in windows 7, so don't go saying stupid things like I'm wrong when obviously I am not, I was merely reporting that just overwriting the usb .dat does not overwrite my dj Data, and providing a proposed solution to the problem.
Looks like save files are saved in other files in Windows 7 and Windows XP.
Delete@TheReduxPL: That is exactly what I was pointing out. I just demonstrated how I managed to overwrite a default/new DJ profile with my own backed up files, or at least how it appears to be working in windows 7.

Hello Rafs. I'm not sure what files I'm missing. I tested all of the files uploaded above on my friend's computer and everything worked fine. He had my save data.

You can check MD5/CRC32 by downloading one of the programs, I recommend you File Comparator (when in program - Tools > File check, then browse for your .iso file, check "CRC32" or "MD5", click "Go" and wait).

DeleteIn My Documents, there are data of your scores. Delete them to delete scores.
In DJMaxTrilogy folder, all files with "USB_16128_" in the name are for game progress. Delete them to reset the game.

This is confirmed working 100% on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
ReplyDeleteIf your looking for the DJlauncher.exe , it is in the ISO in one of the folders.
Also, to use a gamepad, I used Xpadder and emulated the keyboard keys to the gamepad buttons. Just set what buttons are configured to what keys in the xpadder.
